The Summer 2016 issue has all the details on a busy spring that is leading into an eventful summer for the Ontario Corn Fed Beef Program.
The Ontario Cattle Feeders’ Association, OCFB and Executive Director Jim Clark were proud to receive the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association’s 2016 Beef Industry Innovation and Sustainability Award. Sustainability has been one of the main goals since the inception of our program. While it may not have been called sustainability back then, there has always been a commitment to improve and maintain a more viable beef industry in Ontario.
Also of note, the latest issue highlights a successful showing of OCFB at two major global food events. Closer to home, there is more on our exciting partnership with OLG Slots and Casinos, which are now proudly featuring Ontario Corn Fed Beef at 10 locations across the province.
